Chemetall Lithium and Fine Chemicals
Premier producteur mondial de composés à base de lithium, Chemetall Lithium and Fine Chemicals développe également des produits de chimie fine métalliques innovants conçus pour des applications spéciales.

Ses composés à base de lithium sont utilisés dans un large éventail d'applications à forte croissance telles que les produits chimiques de base destinés à différentes industries, les intermédiaires pharmaceutiques, les batteries au lithium ou encore les graisses et élastomères thermoplastiques hautes performances pour pneus automobiles, semelles en caoutchouc et bouteilles en plastique. Chemetall possède des installations de production de lithium aux États-Unis, au Chili, en Allemagne et à Taïwan.

La division Chimie fine de Chemetall développe des produits chimiques à base de métaux tels que les sulfures métalliques, les produits au césium et au rubidium, qui sont principalement utilisés dans l'industrie de la défense et les applications chimiques. Les métaux spéciaux sont produits au site de Langelsheim, en Allemagne. Le site de sulfure de métal est situé à Arnoldstein, en Autriche.

Les installations de Chemetall Lithium and Fine Chemicals sont conformes aux normes internationales, notamment la norme ISO.

Chemetall Surface Treatment
Chemetall Surface Treatment est le deuxième fournisseur mondial de produits et services pour le traitement des surfaces métalliques. La société propose plus de 5 000 produits destinés au prétraitement chimique des métaux et autres substrats. La plupart de ses produits utilisent des formulations exclusives et bénéficient de larges compétences d'application.

Ses produits de traitement chimique des surfaces s'adressent aux industries automobile, aérospatiale, de la sidérurgie et de la métallurgie. Ils sont utilisés pour protéger les métaux contre la corrosion, faciliter le formage et l'usinage et permettre le traitement des pièces métalliques dans un environnement propre et sans graisses pour une bonne adhérence des revêtements.

Chemetall Surface Treatment dispose d'un vaste réseau mondial de production, de vente et de services qui regroupe une trentaine de filiales ou coentreprises et de nombreux utilisateurs sous licence. La société est basée à Langelsheim, en Allemagne, et exploite des installations de production industrielles à Sens (France), Giussano (Italie) et Romulus (Michigan, États-Unis). Chemetall Surface Treatment travaille aussi en partenariat technique avec le Japon.
