Chemetall Participates in Project for Lithium Ion Battery Recycling
Chemetall is part of a consortium of companies participating in “LithoRec,” a comprehensive research and development project aimed at recycling of large-scale lithium ion batteries, such as those used for electric cars.
Rockwood Pigments Uses Post-Industrial Recycled Content
For example, Rockwood Pigments uses 60% post-industrial recycled content to create synthetic red, yellow, orange, brown and black iron oxide pigments. Produced in regular, micronized and high-purity grades, these pigments enhance the aesthetic appeal and “green” profile of cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, plastics, rubber and food products.
Sachtleben Products for Water Treatment and Waste Acid Recycling
In another example, Sachtleben’s NICASAL chloride-free flocculants use nitrogen to reduce corrosion and eliminate odors in closed water circuits, such as car washes and industrial parks. Sachtleben also provides waste acid recycling as a service to industries throughout Europe.
