On Oct. 11, 2008, Tom Chen, China Safety, Health and Environment (SHE*) manager, was invited by Nanshan Institute of Health Inspection, Shenzhen, to share the best practices on occupational health management at a forum. Professionals from more than 60 enterprises in Nanshan district, Shenzhen and heads and officers from the municipal Institute of Health Inspection and the Nanshan Health Bureau joined in the forum. Four SHE professionals represented their enterprises to share their best practices on occupational health management.

Mr. Chen represented the Rockwood Pigments Shenzhen site to share the site’s best practices on occupational health management. He presented the site’s positive occupational health achievement and safety management philosophy.

Rockwood Pigments Shenzhen’ best practices are highly appraised by officers and other SHE professionals. He Mingjie, the head of the Occupational Health Department under the municipal Institute of Health Inspection, congratulated Mr. Chen on the site’s good performance, while other professionals requested Mr. Chen’s presentation.
